Tigger or Eeyore?

My sister, Heidi just sent me a video from a man named Dr. Randy Pausch. It's on youtube, if you're interested. It's about 10 minutes long. He was on Oprah recently. He is dying from pancreatic cancer & decided to do a lecture series on childhood dreams. He talks about how we need to look for the positive in everything in life. Even though he knows he is dying soon he is trying to live his life to the fullest & fulfil all of his childhood dreams. It was interesting to listen to. One thing he mentioned that really stuck with me was thinking about whether you are and Eeyore or a Tigger in your life. I had to laugh at myself today as I worried about my sick family & how little I can get done when they are all sick. I also have been feeling pretty down lately since I have hardly had more than an hour with my husband this past week. I tend to feel sorry for myself sometimes. When I began to have those thought today I thought of this man. I am being an Eeyore right now. I would much rather be a Tigger than an Eeyore! Not that I need to be bouncing off the walls all day long, but I think it's really important to have a positive outlook on things no matter what the situation. That's my thought for the day....

Are you Eeyore or Tigger?

Most times I'm an Eeyore, but I'm trying to be a Tigger!
