Out With the Old & In With the New

Rich finished up work at BYU Mail Services last week. After 8 years of faithful service he has finally moved on. He's sad to leave some of the great friends he made, but not sad to leave the job itself. They had a nice going away party for him. It's weird cause he's worked there as long as I have known him. It's kinda a part of him.

He only has 1 job now which is SO nice. (He has been counseling & still working at BYU for the past few months. It's been crazy.) He is working solely on counseling. He's trying to build up to a full-time load of clients. We had a barbecue with the group from his office last week, so I got to meet everyone. His boss told me how great Rich was doing and how much they like having him there. Rich is really enjoying finally being able to do counseling after so many years of school to prepare him. It's nice to see him enjoying his job so much. We're hoping after this 1-year internship that he'll have a permanant spot there. His boss is definitely talking that way.

Rich has been putting together a sex therapy program for couples. They have gotten many requests from OBGYN's and bishops for couples that need counseling. He's written a counseling program as well as a workbook that they are starting to use. He's done it all on his own & will get most of the clients that come in from that. I am so proud of him for all his hard work.
