It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas

The day after Thanksgiving we set up our tree. I always love to help my Mom with her tree because it brings back so many memories of childhood & Christmases past. This year we also got our own tree. It's a pre-lit one in 3 pieces. It's so easy to set up. I only put up the top 2 pieces this year, though since we're in a basement. I have enjoyed going through all of my stuff that's been packed away year after year. I decided it was time for my kids to see my ornaments & the things they are going to have on their tree when we move away from here. We had fun setting things up & listening to Bing Crosby sing away.

Here are the kids helping with Dama's tree. Brennan did a great job helping put on ornaments. Elsie can take them off as quickly as we put them on.

Elsie has also learned how much fun kissing is. (Let's just hope she gets over this by the time she's 16)
