Snow, Snow & More Snow

We have been getting dumped on with so much snow this week. At first the snow is always a little exciting, until you have to go places & you car can't make it up the hills that they never seem to plow. We will be having a white Christmas. I just hope that my family all makes it into town. It sure is beautiful when the gound is covered in a foot of snow!

Brennan has had SO much fun in the snow this week. We have a big hill in our back yard & I took him out sledding the other day. He's spent at least half of his awake time each day out playing in it. He keeps telling me how much he loves snow, how much he wishes it would stay ALL the time. It's really cute. The snow is past his knees when he walks in it. It's getting really deep. His buddy, Merlin, (the 180 lb weimereiner) is ecastatic to have a playmate outside & jumps on him as he sleds down the hill. (he was quickly banned from being outside by Brennan). Brennan is getting better at putting his snow clothes on- which is a help for me.

Elsie does not love the snow. I managed to get a picture of her smiling because I took it the minute we walked outside. She refuses to keep her mittens on & her hands are freezing. She is screaming by, oh, about 5 minutes of snow time. It makes shoveling the driveway hard, since I can't leave "Miss Mischief" unattended for more than 1 minute.

So then how do you do it? Have one outside and one inside?

Your kids are adorable. We got your Christmas card yesterday and love it. You look amazing, by the way. Can't wait to get together! After the holidays we will plan something (and I really mean it.) :)

Karyn, Just wanted to tell you how beautiful your songs where today. My inlaws have come three years to hear our choir and they particularly remember and enjoy your voice.

Hi Karyn,
we just got your Christmas card and I was excited to see that you guys have a blog, they are great for keeping up with what everyone is up to. I'm very happy to hear from you and see that you and your family are doing so well!
If Rich ends up looking for a job besides the one that's been offered to him, I have lots of contacts in the mental health field down in Utah and I'd be happy to help out in any way.
