I have been working on building up a storage of food. It's something that can be helpful in times of need. It's great to buy bulk of things when they are on sale to save money. Plus, it's just a smart thing to do.
This has been kinda hard to do since I am living at my parent's house & don't have extra storage space. But, this is also one of my motivating factors. We will be moving out within the year, hopefully. When I got to thinking about completely stocking a pantry from scratch, it kinda panicked me. So, I have slowly been buying things I use regularly & storing them so I won't have to start from scratch for my own pantry. (I have been using Elsie's room as a storage room. Poor girl, she doesn't know yet what a mess her room is.)
Anyways, in the process of building up my storage, I have come across a few really helpful blogs that I like to read. There is a new one that just started this week that combines the skills of several bloggers. It's called Fun With Food Storage. I really like the tips they are giving & hope to learn a lot from them as I begin my own adventure of building a usable food storage. Check them out if you want to learn more.

moving out into your first home? I hope. How exciting.
Thanks for the blog link...food storage is a constant goal of mine as well!
Thank you for the link! It is hard to stock stuff when you are in temporary stage, isn't it? I am hoping to get into more stable stage as well so I know what you mean. Hopefully I can organize what we got more!
I love this bog, fun with food storage, I just ran accross it last week. So neat!
