My little sis, Krystyna got married on Saturday. Since the reception was here at the house, our lives have been truned upsidedown for the past month getting ready. Everything turned out beautifully, despite the torrential downpour during the "outdoor" reception. We were planning on having a garden wedding out back & it was pouring, so we last minute moved everything, including the band into my parent's-not so large-house. About an hour into it, the sun came back out so we moved it all back out again. It ended up still being a great reception. There was a great band playing jazz music & a dance floor full of people, Tucanos catered-yum!
My cake turned out beautifully. I was really pleased with it & was so surprised at how nice it looked. I did not once get out my camera during the whole day, so I will have to wait until I get photos from others to post some pictures.
I am worn out from days of no sleep and am so relieved to have it all over with. I have to say, though, Krystyna & Tyler were so happy through it all. It was so much fun to have all of our family together for their joyous occasion. I am proud of my beautiful sister. I love weddings!

I wondered how the reception went. We had Landan's birthday party the same night and when it started to rain I thought of you guys. So glad it didn't ruin everything. Can't wait to see your cake!
i can't believe little krystyna is married...that's crazy...last time i saw her, she was in middle school...man how time flies...i'm glad the weather decided to co-operate in the end...i hope everything is well with you and your family...give my love to your parents and brothers & sisters :o)
