If you live in Utah, Pioneer Day is a big celebration. We had a fun ward activity that morning. We started with a trail clean-up around our neighborhood. It was fun, but hot & tiring since I carried a 25-lb girl & a trash bag on hilly trails for at least a mile.
After that we met at the park where they had a big, giant slip-n-slide set up & lunch was served. It was a fun day. Brennan loved the big slip & slide. He kept sliding off the end & getting covered in grass. Elsie was not so sure. Once was enough for her. She flew down it, you'll see by my great photo of her. She did, however, really enjoy her ice cream cone..
