I just had to share my moment of excitement with my peeps.
I've written a few times about the Jenny Phillips Choir that I am in. Well, they have a tour planned for this July to New York and Vermont. It was originally going to cost over $600 which we couldn't really afford so I kinda ruled out going. Well a few weeks ago Jenny P. e-mailed us all telling us that someone generously donated the money to cover the cost of our trip, except for $50/person. The only problem is that there are 150 members of the choir and only 30 slots for the trip. So, she said she was going to randomly draw names from the people who have attended their required # of performances.
Well, last night I had a fireside & Jenny mentioned how hard it was going to be to choose who gets to go since so many want to. I mentioned that I have family in Vermont that I could possibly see if I got to go. She perked up at that & said that she'd take it into consideration.
Well, I just got the e-mail & I made it into the group that gets to go!! I am SO incredibly excited it's going to be an amazing trip.
And to my family in Vermont (& Maine??)...please come & see me!! :)
We'll be in South Royalton, VT on July 8th, Rutland & Shaftsbury, VT on the 9th.
We'll go to Geneva, NY & Seneca Lake Camp, & Albany, NY on the 9th, Palmyra, NY on the 10th, & Fayette on the 11th.

Too bad you're not stopping in the city. You know the Forbes are in Albany....
Bah who would want to see the Forbes Kendra....oh wait everyone!
There's a chance we'll be out west that week in July but if we'll let you know as we get closer to the date. It would be good to see you again.
