Survived the Move

We're baaaack!  We survived our move & are loving spreading out in this large home- not used to having room for ALL of my clothes in one closet, putting cars in a garage, having a playroom, living room, and TV room.  It's great!  I haven't taken any pictures of the house yet because it has been such a mess.  That will come.  But we are loving it!  My kids love the yard.  I hung a swing up in a tree- there is actually a tree large enough for it!  :) 

We started school the Monday after we moved in.  A little stressful, but the first week went quite smoothly.  We are having fun.  Elsie is starting to learn reading.  Brennan is loving the curriculum we are studying.  We have been learning about Ancient History & the Old Testament. For more on all of that check out the homeschool blog I also have been keeping up.

Plus- a little video for your comic relief.  Brennan was learning about the can-can dance from the CD Beethoven's wig.  It made me laugh, so I snapped a quick video.  Enjoy!  (Excuse the mess of boxes & moving... We had only been here a couple of days).

Also, some very important business that has long been neglected...

Burton's 7 month picture.  He still has his red hair.  He has the sweetest gummy smile- no teeth yet.  He is crawling all over the place- loving the new house.  Since we have been here, he has learned to climb stairs- we have a step-down living room & her climbs the 2 steps no problem. (You can see it behind him)   He is also starting to pull himself up to standing on things.  He is so proud of himself when he gets there.  It's adorable.  But then he usually falls over pretty quickly after that.
