Yeah, I know. I probably shouldn't try to keep up 3 different blogs. The other 2 have hundreds of followers, so I am slightly more motivated to post over there.. But, family first, right? I feel like my life is running in fast forward lately. 3 kids, a big house to care for, homeschooling, a big primary calling (music leader), the holiday season. I hardly slow down. So, sometimes my favorite little journal over here gets neglected. I noticed recently that my blog header doesn't even have Burton on it. Sad. I need to work on that! Who, by the way is now 10 1/2 months old. Check out this great 10 month shot! It's his scrunched up nose smile-love it. Plus look @ that mouth full of teeth- 7 in all now!
Something else many of you may have noticed is my lack of posting about the presidential campaign. There has been a big difference this time. My family has not been overly involved like we were before. None of us has really been able to be on the campaign trail, unfortunately. It has been quite a roller coaster, though. I can hardly stand the waiting & watching. We are just a few weeks from the first primaries, though. I'll tell you a little secret. I am completely OBSESSED with political news. I have been trying to restrain myself from pushing it on everyone this time, though. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions & everyone has strong ones when it comes to politics! So, just know that I eat, drink, sleep, breath politics right now. I wake up & read my Mitt news. I read my Mitt news with lunch, oh and then again with dinner. Wait, I can't go to bed without checking my Mitt news. We don't have TV, so I do it all on my iPad.
Now, we are getting ready for Christmas. The house is decorated. Our Nativity collection is up & growing each year. I am busily sewing, crafting, wrapping to get ready for this year. We are doing lots of homemade stuff this year and I am really enjoying it.

I love reading about your adorable family...and Mitt! Remind me what the relationship is? Your mom or dad? Anyway, I'm a fan and follow the news too.
Mitt's wife, Ann is my Dad's sister.
