A Wedding & New Family

This past weekend, my Grandpa got remarried. We all went out to Massachusetts for the occasion. It was in a quaint little town called Manchester-By-The-Sea. What a beautiful place! If you ever get the chance, you should definitely visit. We stayed in this cute little bed & Breakfast. I got to see cousins that I haven't seen in 14 years, and meet new family. His new wife's name is Jane & she is absolutely adorable! She is so sweet and her family is all so nice. We all had a great time getting to know each other & celebrating the occasion. We had a clam bake with fresh lobster, clams, mussels, clam chowder & strawberry shortcake. There was dancing & live jazz music. We got to explore the town & went on a nice walk through it. Heidi, Ryan & I got up at 5:30 am on Saturday to do a run & it was probably the best time I could imagine having while running. We got to go by all these amazing new-England homes that took my breath away-each & every one. Then on Saturday we had a lunch out by the ocean where I went on a fun little boat ride around the coast. It is so beautiful! The wedding was Saturday evening. It was a simple ceremony, but so nice. It was followed by a nice dinner at the country club. I have never seen my Grandpa so happy. It's really wonderful!

New England is quite a different world. Beautiful and unique! We loved it. Boston was a little intense, but it was great!

I love the New England homes, the green, the large green lawns, white churches in the middle of every town....What a great time you had. I miss those clam bakes too...

New England (and I'm including upstate NY because I live on the border between Red Sox Nation and the Evil Empire) is wonderful. I love the weather, the rolling hills, the little shops, the trees, and the real maple sugar. What a great place to live.
