I have been crafting up a storm lately. Here is something I have actually finished. These are headbands. I made them from thin stretchy headbands, but they could be done on the regular ones, too. I used some antique crocheted lace for one (My great-grandma made it. Kinda cool!) and a silky fabric for the other. I just cut several layers of each of them. For the red one, I did circles that gradually got smaller & the top is done by folding 2 layers in half & sewing a button on top to finish it. I kinda frayed the edges a little on it, too. To attach it to the headband, I hand sewed it on & then also added a little dab of hot glue to secure it. They turned out really cute. I was copying some that my sister's friend bought at J-Crew for $25. I love being able to make things that I see in the store. More crafty things to come, just as soon as I finish them.

Wow, I am impressed! I have the same stretchy headbands, that gives me some ideas..only I am not as crafty as you. It would never look as nice as yours. Good job!
Too cute, you have all kinds of talents.
That is my favorite too. making something way cooler for a lot less. I am excited to see what comes next.
