Sweet Moments & Some Not So Sweet

Elsie is such a girl. She has a few favorite things that she likes to carry around with her. Her two little satin blankies, and her two little babies. She has to have them all in her arms & gets frustrated cause it is a lot to carry. I love it. (Notice the black eye. It's pretty faded in this picture. She pulled a table down on top of her. The first of a few injuries lately. No fears!)




My kids get along pretty well. I know the day will come when they will start fighting. Right now they have fun together. elsie has really started playing with Brennan & trying to do everything he does. It's pretty cute. Brennan is so great with her, too. He loves playing with her & making her laugh. He also loves knocking her off her unstable feet, but I think that's what big brother are for.




In these pictures you can see the big scratch on Elsie's nose. She pulled a picture off the wall while climbing on top of the couch. It hit her nose & left a nasty scratch. The next day she tried to walk down the stairs. She can crawl up & down with no problems but she took a step off the top & tumbled face first scratching her face up more- opening up the scratch on her nose. Just now as I was working on this she fell & hit her head on my weights. there's a pretty bruise forming next to her eye. This girl is just one accident after the next. I'm hoping as she gets better at walking she won't fall as much. I feel so bad for the poor girl! Although, I worry that someone might report me for abuse with the way she's looked lately. I PROMISE I don't beat my kids.
