Apples & Pumpkins

Two of the best things about Fall!

Last night we had a real Halloween experience. We made caramel apples & carved our pumpkins. Then I roasted up the pumpkin seeds. I really do love this time of year.

I have lots of memories doing all of these Halloween things as a kid & it is fun to start all the traditions with my kids. I wonder what memories they will have.

Purely delicious!

Connor doesn't have a clue why I roast the seeds, they are great, he thinks they taste like trash! More for me I guess! Those apples do look good! Do you just melt any old caramel, or do you have a favoirite? Favorite apple under it all?

Oh how fun! I have never made those apples yet but I think I will this year since my girl wants to try one. I'm sure she will lick the carmel part and have a few apple bites... oh well.

It was fun visiting with you today!

michal- in response to your comment. I didn't have a recipe- I looked at the back of a bag of caramels & all you do is melt the bag & add 2 TB milk to it. Simple!

Have fun!
