Pirate?

Brennan talked for months about wanting to be a giraffe for halloween. I searched long & hard and finally found him a costume. It arrived about 2 weeks before Halloween. Brennan didn't like it. He said it didn't feel comfortable. So, we resorted to the costumes we had stored (Thank-you, Grandma!!) She has given us a whole bunch of really cute costumes that we've been using for our kids for the past few years. Brennan Loved the Dragon costume. He wore it to the church Halloween party & to preschool. He complained a few times about it being uncomfortable because the zipper bothered him, but I told him that was his only choice.

Well after dinner last night when we were about to get into our costumes he informs me that he will not wear his dragon cotume again. He doesn't like costumes with zippers. So I said he could look in his dress-up stuff & find something. (These are also from Grandma) He had a pirate & a knight costume that have been hanging around in his closet for a few years. He decided 10 minutes before we were going to trick-or-treat that he wanted to be a pirate, just like his cousin Maddox. He was so excited about it & looked adorable!!

Elsie was a little love bug. She looked so cute, too. She loved her pumpkin and had so much fun filling it with candy- even though she had no idea what it was. (She knows now...)

This morning Brennan was still talking about how much he loves trick-or-treating. He also said..."I haven't been in so long!" I think he thought I would take him again today. I said we can't go again until next year & he soberly nodded his head.
