It's a Jungle!

Yesterday, was Brennan's 4th Birthday party. It's the first time I've really had a party for him. He was so excited & was counting down days until the day. His favorite things are animals & Diego (the cartoon, he's an animal rescuer) So we had a Diego Jungle animal party. It was an adventure, for me & the kids!

I set the whole living room up in a rescue adventure for the kids. They had to go through the bug cave, across rattlesnake lake, climb the bridge over the Crocodile swamp, over lizard mountain through dinosaur tunnel & down the slide to the magic waterfall where they went fishing & then found the animals that they had to rescue. Each kid had an animal mask to play with. We also played an animal matching game. There were leaves all over with animal pictures that they had to find matches to. We had a pinata as well. It turned out to be a pretty fun time. Brennan loved it & I guess that's all that really matters. He was so happy with all of his presents.

He got a book & some money from his Grandparents in California. He doesn't really get the whole money concept yet. Here's a video of him opening the card from them. I thought it was really cute.
