Last night Brennan & Elsie were playing hide & seek & Elsie's finger got smashed in a clost door. I heard her screaming & thought immediatley that it was broken. Don't think it is anymore, but it is really bad. Here's the best picture I could get of the little wiggle-worm's finger. My poor baby!

OW! That looks really painful. The poor baby. The same thing happened to Josh yesterday. Emma accidentally shut his fingers in her bedroom door. It wasn't as bad as Elsie's though.
oh-- so sad. Poor baby and poor mom! When your kids are in pain you feel it too. Door slams are the worst.
Dylan got his first finger squished recently too. Hard way to learn not to play with doors- but I guess it is good. This looks like it really hurts!!
Oh my gosh, she is so fortunate! I had that done when I was 1, and it cut off the tip of my finger. Glad she's okay (and you!).
Ouch... My son smashed his sister's finger when she was holding onto the hinge side of the door. We took her to the ER and she ended up getting stitches. When it happened, she screamed once and I screamed a lot more! It was a nightmare experience. Glad to hear she is okay. Is it bruised now? Whew...
so so sad :0(
Poor thing! I bet it throbbed forever. I'm so sorry it always makes you as a mom feel bad they are in so much pain.
