Apparently I smell. Today in church, Brennan was sitting next to me. He leaned over and asked me if I showered this morning. I didn't. I know- how gross am I? Church starts @ 9am. I just didn't have time. He then says: "Well, Mom, you don't smell very good to me." I immediatley panic & lean to Rich asking if I smell & start smelling myself. I didn't smell anything amiss. But, I was sure self-conscious the rest of church & made sure to not sit too close to anyone. Amazing that my 4-year-old can make me feel that way. At least he's honest.

HAHA! Oh kids are so awesome. I was working out a few days ago and feeling pretty good about my abs and then Jayden comes up to me and says, "Mom, your belly button is so funny and squished." Then she started to feel/poke my belly and said, "Awe, it's so soft." I then looked over at her and said, "Do you know why it's so squished and soft? Because of you my dear." She laughed and thought that was funny
ha, that's great. i'm sure you smelled just fine... but kids will keep you honest, that is for sure!

I think if I shower Saturday night, I shouldn't have to shower again for Sunday. This story made me laugh. Chalk it up to another joy of motherhood. We stink...what can we do? My daughter is always telling my husband that he is the stinkiest one in the family, so I have yet to hear it from her yet.
