We had a great easter weekend. It started off on Saturday with the neighborhood Easter egg hunt. They did a really fun one where every house that wanted to participate put out enough eggs in their yard for each child to get one. They alll met together & got a map of the participating houses & Then went from house to house collecting like a big giant egg hunt. It was a lot of fun.
Brennan & Elsie were pretty excited about their Easter baskets on Sunday morning. The Elmo basket that was Brennan's got passed on to Elsie. He chose a new & exciting Spiderman one. Elsie has grown VERY attached to her Elmo basket & carries it around on her arm like a purse. she even think she needs to sleep with it at night. Nobody else is allowed to touch Elmo.
Sunday we had another egg hunt at our house with the cousins. We had so many eggs & the kids had so much fun searching. It was Elsie's first time & she got the hang of it really quickly & filled up her basket with very little help. They collected so many eggs & we all went to bed with a tummy ache. We got more candy than anyone should eat all year I think.
One more little treasure. Here is Elsie's first experience trying a Peeps marshamllow candy. I think she liked it. What do you think? (And for my siblings...does this remind you of something??)

of course, the cookie dance! That is so funny! Her balancing skills don't really help out here though!
She todders around like she's drunk! DRUNK ON SUGAR! I want that!
Karyn, her Easter dress is adorable. You probably made it or something! Looks like you guys had a great Easter!
hahaha Elsie is so cute! You know a Davies likes sweets when she dances around like that! Great post, sis.
IT'S THE COOKIE DANCE! Stew's mom gives my kids those every year and every year they end up in the garbage. Now I know who to give them to!
