Happy Valentine's Day. I love holidays. When I was growing up my Mom always made a pretty big deal out of holidays for us. She used to do this cute thing on Valentine's day where she would decorate the table really pretty & do a nice breakfast for us with little surprises for us on the table. I always remember loving it. Well, Brennan is finally old enough to understand holidays. I decided to do it this year. I have a heart-shaped hole punch & made some confetti & decorated it with kisses & hearts. It was fun putting it all together. I made some yummy raspberry muffins & some quiche & strawberries. Brennan, of course, only ate candy, but what can you expect, right?
Rich is usually up & gone by 5:30 am to get to work, but this morning took the day off. He was driving home in the crazy snow storm last night & it took him several hours. He had lots of homework that needed to get done, so he stayed home. That made the morning even more special. He's so sweet, too. Despite the storm last night, he managed to go to the store & get me flowers a card & the new Jack Johnson CD. He also got little presents for the kids. How great is he? I must say, I love him & my cute little family.
