I always wanted to be a mom. When I was a kid and people asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up, I always said I wanted to be a mom. I had a good example to look up. She taught me that there is nothing better in life & still teaches me similar lessons each day. I am grateful for all the mothers in my life who teach me so much!

Now that I am a mom I want to share with you a few reasons why I love it so very much.
- I have never felt so loved
- There is nothing like big slobbery wet kisses
- I always have someone to snuggle with
- I get new original art work daily
- I have an excuse to still play
- Simple, everyday things are new and exciting again
- I get to be in charge & say "Because I said So!"
- I understand my mother so much more
- I am making memories & creating traditions
- It forces me to be creative
- I get to teach new things every day
- There are always people who want to spend time with me
- It forces me to be strong and hardworking, even when I don't feel like it
- I am learning patience, in ways I could never imagine
- I know everything & can do anything (to my kids at least)
- I get flowers on Mother's Day
- I have a reason to cry when the primary kids get up & sing in sacrament meeting (I always did, but now that one of my own is up there, I have a reason to)
- Everything is so much more fun with kids
We took some pictures of the kids this week to give to our Mothers for the special day.

Your kids are so cute! I love the pictures.
that is so true! Amen to everything you said! I especially love the one where we can say 'because I said so!'. I love saying that... great pictures! the one of Brennan is great - i love the line of snot from his nose going into his mouth! And, as always, Elsie's piggies are so cute! Can't wait until I can do that with Annie. Luke has the same outfit as Brennan (old navy rocks!)
